It’s like deja vu all over again

  • Last Tuesday night was full of excitement as it became clear that the President would win a solid victory over Willard. The elation died rather quickly when we realized that we would have to live through Return of the Living Dread. Thanks to the selfishness of Commissioners Davis and Gomez who thoroughly screwed Commissioner Huber during redistricting by not helping make the 3rd Precinct more Democratic, we will be welcoming back Pig Demon Gerald Daugherty.

Both Davis and Gomez will have opponents in 2016 and 2014, respectively. Both deserve it not only for allowing that ugly, festering, butt carbuncle back onto the Court but also for whining about not being able to live on their quite generous compensation. Enjoy the remainder of your service, Commissioners.

  • A Bush is thinking about running for office

George P. Bush, son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and nephew of former President George W. Bush, has taken his first step toward running for office by filing an “appointment of a campaign treasurer” with the Texas Ethics Commission, according to The New Republic.

I’m all about forgiveness and not holding the sins of the father (or, in this case, the uncle) against someone. BUT SERIOUSLY, HASN’T THIS FAMILY DONE ENOUGH TO TEXAS AND THE COUNTRY? The last time a Bush held office, we ended up with a massive deficit that took years to fix.

So, I’m asking you all to say NO MAS ARBUSTO!
